The Structure of GMAT includes four sections. And here is the GMAT test format.

  • Create an account with your details
  • Enter personal details like Name, address, etc.
  • Submit all the academic and work experience details
  • Cross-check all the details and submit
  • Schedule your test and center as per your convenience
  • Select the time and slot
  • Finish the GMAT Registration fee and finish the process

It is always better to start booking slots before 3-4 months ahead instead of waiting till the last minute. During the peak season like the intake period, finding a slot at that time will be difficult.

For the candidates who are planning to start preparing for GMAT course, here are some quick tips to prepare for GMAT

  • Learn everything there is to know about the exam components and create a study plan appropriately.
  • Candidates should create a comprehensive GMAT study schedule and stick to it religiously.
  • Collect GMAT prep material both online and offline. There are several online GMAT study tools available to help you prepare for the GMAT exam.
  • Because this is a time-limited test, practice skills that will come in helpful while administering the test. Find your weak point and practice on it so that it does not affect your overall performance on the exam.
  • Practice makes perfect, so use this when studying for the test, and after you are through, go for the free GMAT sample papers. It will assist you in determining how well you have prepared for the test.

A good GMAT score is 650-690. Scoring 700+ on GMAT is great for getting into top business schools for MBA.

  • The registration fee for GMAT will cost $275
  • Cancellation Charges – $100 (60 days before the test)
  • Rescheduling fee – $50 (60 days before the test)

You can re-schedule your GMAT test at least before 24 hours. But you need to pay the re-scheduling charges of $10.

GMAT scores will be valid for 5 years from the date of your examination. You can attempt the exam and plan your education within 5 years, which is not an issue at all.

  • Log on to the official website for GMAT select the GMAT test
  • Select the ‘GMAT test to reschedule’ option
  • Select the ‘new GMAT Appointment’
  • Review ‘New GMAT Appointment’
  • Check and confirm your details
  • Check the box of Agree to GMAC’s policies
  • Proceed and pay the Re-scheduling fee

The fee for rescheduling the GMAT test over the phone will be $10. The following are the GMAT rescheduling fees for Indian students.

  • More than 60 days before the test – USD 50
  • 15 to 60 days before the test – USD 100
  • 14 days or less before the test – USD 150

No, rescheduling or cancelation of the GMAT test cannot be done through fax or mail. You can either do that by phone or online.

Yes. The candidates are allowed to re-take the GMAT test after 16 days of the appointment.

 

Absolutely. You can cancel your GMAT test anytime you want. Here are the cancellation fee or refund policies of the GMAT exam for Indian Students in 2024.

If Cancelled,

  • More than 60 days before the appointment – US$100 refund
  • 15-60 days before the appointment – US$75 refund
  • 14 days and less before the appointment – US$50 refund

Note: Your appointment cannot be rescheduled or canceled within 24 hours of the booked time. If you do not reschedule or cancel your exam more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, you will forfeit your whole exam fee.
